Hire Information FAQ's

SFX Supplies & Hire offers a wide range of special effects equipment for hire, including special effects machines, flame systems, CO₂ jets, and confetti cannons.

We provide both dry hire and wet hire services:

  • Dry Hire – Equipment is supplied for you to rig, operate, and de-rig.
  • Wet Hire – Our trained technicians attend your event to install, operate, and remove the equipment safely.

LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS

We understand that event plans can change quickly, and last-minute creative ideas often arise.

Where possible, we aim to accommodate short notice hire requests and can often provide fast turnaround on available stock.

Hire equipment can usually be dispatched on a next working day tracked service, with options for timed delivery, Saturday delivery, and Sunday delivery where required.

All availability is subject to stock and scheduling.

DRY HIRE DELIVERY & COLLECTION

We offer a nationwide delivery and collection service for dry hire equipment to make the process as simple as possible.

Hire equipment is delivered via DHL courier or pallet network, depending on the size and weight of the equipment.

To obtain a hire quote, please provide:

  • Hire dates
  • Delivery postcode
  • Event location details

If you are local to us or operating a touring production, collection from our unit is available free of charge. Please contact us in advance to arrange this.

BOOKING PROCESS

Once a hire quote has been accepted, we will issue an invoice and a hire agreement.

To confirm your booking, the hire agreement must be completed and signed. Once received, your equipment will be allocated and reserved for your event.

Your equipment will then be dispatched in advance of your event and delivered to your specified address.

HIRE TERMS (IMPORTANT)

All hire equipment remains the property of Force FX Supplies & Hire Ltd at all times.

Customers are responsible for the safe use, supervision, and security of hired equipment during the hire period.

Any loss, damage, theft, or misuse of equipment may result in additional charges.

Equipment must only be used by competent and trained persons in accordance with all safety instructions and legal requirements.

CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES

Hire bookings may be subject to cancellation fees depending on notice period and equipment allocation.

Late changes or cancellations may still be chargeable if equipment has already been reserved, prepared, or dispatched.

Please contact us as soon as possible if your requirements change.

DELIVERY NOTES

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on courier availability and event logistics.

We cannot guarantee specific delivery times unless a timed delivery service has been booked.
